Since eSignal’s last release, a number of exchanges are now available. This brings some exciting new financial investment and trading opportunities to all eSignal subscribers.

Included within this article are eSignal Quote Window files that you can download and open using the File menuand the Open command from within the eSignal application. Euronext Futures

Commodities, Equity and Index Derivatives, Interest Rate Futures

The most popular “cross-border exchange” in Europe, Euronext is certainly at the heart of this region’s financial base. Active index traders could broaden their watch lists by including the highly active FTSE 100 and CAC 40 index derivatives. Even hedgers in the “softs” or grain markets can find a home here.

Russia Stock Exchange

RTS, RTO, FORTS

Because Russia has one of the largest demands for consumer goods in Europe and very large supplies of raw materials, the Russian markets continue to have great growth opportunities. The Russia Stock Exchange is divided into three areas. RTS is a “classic-style” equity market quoted in U.S. dollars. RTO is a more “democratic-style” equity market that runs in a more familiar order- driven mode. FORTS is where futures and options are traded.

Joint Asian Derivatives Exchange (JADE)

Our newest exchange, the JADE, is a joint venture between the Chicago Board of Trade and the Singapore Exchange. By combining the strengths of each (that is, the electronic infrastructure of CBOT and SGX’s leading position for Asian derivatives), this exchange is certainly one to keep tabs on. The first product to launch on the JADE is TSR 20 Rubber futures, which is the largest produced form of natural rubber. The exchange also has plans to include Palm Oil futures, another key export from Asia.

Caracas Stock Exchange (Venezuela)

Being the fifth largest oil exporter in the world and with the out-spoken President, Hugo Chávez, at the helm, Venezuela can be expected to be in the political spotlight for this U.S. election year. A savvy trader watching for reactions relating to such news would be wise to follow this exchange.
