Important Information about Your Trading Computer

If you have a high-performance trading computer, you need to do some things to continue to receive great performance from your machine:

1. Once a month, get a can of compressed air and clean out your system. You can buy these cans anywhere at stores, such as Walmart, Best Buy, etc. Dust causes heat issues with high-performance trading computers -- much more than with a low-end Dell or HP computer.
   
   Heat in a high-performance trading computer can lead to hardware failure if not maintained, and it can cause you to have to do a Returned Materials Authorization (RMA) in the future. Hard disk drives also fail when subjected to heat from a computer clogged up with dust.
   
   Do you want to lose all your data? If you thoroughly clean out the computer at least once a month, it is going to run cooler and faster without problems.
