eSignal Preview 2
We will have an update of our preview of eSignal 11 coming soon and wanted to highlight some of the new changes that have come out of this version, as well as cover a handful of other features that we didn't get a chance to talk about in the last preview article. If you haven't had a chance to review that article yet, or this is your first time hearing about eSignal 11, I'd recommend reading that article first.
Option Chain
Embracing the new options window in eSignal 11 will be a pleasure with this new look-and-feel. The symbol entry, month and strike filters are in drop-down menus at the top, and the rest of the filters slide into view with a single click of the Filter icon in the Title Bar. The right-click menu is clean and intuitive and has an option to include the underlying symbol in a small, customizable quote area at the top of the chain.
All the Greeks are present, as well as a few new option indicators, too. This fresh and organized take on data-heavy windows is a welcome addition to the eSignal 11 line-up.
Even More Languages
eSignal has been known for years to have a broad, global presence with hundreds of exchanges, news sources, Forex contributors and a variety of other worldwide services. With eSignal 11, we now have the ability to convert the application to display in other languages. Preview 2 expands its offering to eight languages, and the application will soon detect what language your operating system is in and match that, if possible. English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Chinese and Japanese are all available in eSignal 11 -- it makes it so much easier for native speakers to navigate the application.
Detailed Quotes
Available in the first Preview but freshened in the Frost theme seen below, the Detailed Quotes window makes a dramatic reappearance. The inclusion of a "Big Price" makes it very easy to see the current action while the Mini Chart adds to both visual and functional appeal. Both of the new extras are optional for those needing a simplified, compact data window.
News Window
Get all of eSignal's powerful news services in a compact window. Scan today's headlines on keyword searches or by category or service; Or, grab up to 15 days back on a single symbol to find all the news on a specific company. This window is now in eSignal 11, so if you're a big information fan, be sure to try out this exciting new window!
