The Company Profile Feature
Last month, we released new tools for all eSignal users that dramatically improve the financial information available. The new Company Profile pages are available with a quick right click from your Quote or Summary window and include a variety of additional content, such as income statement, balance sheet and cash flow data. Further, a business summary and an overview of key fundamentals are also included in this view.
Analysts’ Recommendations
At the top of the Company Profile is a drop-down menu to drill into a number of other tools, such as recommendations from market analysts. The first tab provides a consensus rating, as well as predicted future EPS estimates. Other tabs include tools to look for patterns in estimates, revenue estimates and how the chosen company compares horizontally against others in its industry.
Ownership
Although eSignal has had ownership data (Insider %, Institutional %) since version 10.5, we now have even more detailed information in this arena. Who is buying and selling within a company? Which institutions are making large sales or purchases? Both questions can be answered in the new Insiders and Top Holders sections.
Markets at a Glance
Quickly examine how the global markets are performing without having to subscribe to the exchanges themselves. Either grab a high-level view of the vital markets or dig deeper into a specific region. Likewise, a summary of news from a global or local perspective can be had.
