Workstation has tick, intraday, daily, weekly, monthly and continuation charts, as well as the ability to create chartable expressions (mathematical calculations that use one or more contracts, numerical constants and simple mathematical operators [ + - * / ] ) on the fly and apply multiple cart overlays. It offers up to 35 years of historical data. The charting features multiple plot types, 54 indicators and a complete set of drawing tools, as well as the ability to create studies on studies and studies on spreads with no programming required.

Workstation’s charting supports custom data sets, allowing users to bring their customers’ specialized data into Workstation, where they can then perform complete technical analysis on it. This external / custom data feature supports Excel, as well as custom-separated values (CSV) and tab-delimited files. It also supports aggregation of daily, weekly, monthly, tick and intraday data, including “smart” aggregating for viewing intraday as daily and so forth.
